Terms of Use
FileCompat provides compatibility information for reference. Use it to identify documented capabilities and questions to check before choosing a workflow.
Verify critical workflows
Compatibility can change between software versions, editions, operating systems and plugin releases. Verify critical production workflows with the relevant software vendor and test representative files before relying on a transfer.
FileCompat does not guarantee that every conversion preserves all geometry, materials, metadata, assemblies or other data. Keep original files and suitable backups.

External and vendor links are provided as references. FileCompat does not control their availability or content.
Third-party product names, company names and trademarks remain the property of their respective owners. FileCompat is independent and is not affiliated with or endorsed by the listed software vendors unless explicitly stated.
Responsibility and limitations
You are responsible for deciding whether a workflow is suitable for your files and intended use. Information may contain errors or become outdated.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, FileCompat is not liable for losses caused by reliance on compatibility information, including failed conversions, lost data or interrupted work. This does not exclude rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded.
